The residential home of a local Baha’i­ was the target of three attacks by unidentified subjects over a period of seven days

City of Semnan has been witnessed to widespread clashes, involving hand grenade attacks on residential homes, destruction of cemeteries, summons and arrests, as well as unauthorized search of the homes of Baha’is over the past few months.

Over the past week, Mr. Yahya Hedayaty’s residence was the target of three attacks and stone throws by unidentified bike riders in the middle of the night.

These attacks broke the windows of the residence and exposed his family and especially his elderly mother to serious physical danger.  The household feels very insecure in their home, and is dealing with physiological pressures and strains.

The legal inquiries about the incidents have been fruitless, the family of this local Baha’i­ are in fear of further attacks by these seemingly organized attackers.
